Hey! What's happening?

My 11 year old brother is having a sleepover, so, much tylenol and caffiene has been consumed. I am hiding in my "mancave" and tweeting S.O.S. 's to my friends...

So tomorrow is New Years Eve! Happy New Year. What are your New Years Resolutions for 2011?

I'm not really sure what mine is exactly, but I think it is to be a more motivated person and be determined to finish things I start. Lol, i know it's silly, but it's true. I'm the not the most "stick with it" kind of guy. I haven't played guitar in a great while, I hardly ever post here and/or on Youtube and I never really follow up with ideas such as my reviewing channel/blog JakeReviewz. I started that around this march and got a pretty good audience response, but I lost interest. So hopefully in the upcoming year I can improve those aspects of my life and make for a more enjoyable experience on the internet for you guys. That is if anybody actually even reads this anymore. And I don't blame them, either. Oh well, talk to you guys every day for a month this Saturday. Goodbye! :D

Happy New Year!!!! Sort of...

So it's almost the end of 2010 and it has come to my attention that this year SUCKED!!

Not alot of exciting things really happened...

I think I only posted around 9-10 videos this entire year. and I am ashamed for the lack of content I have produced. This is why I decided to do a video for the entire month of January, to pick up a little moral "slack"...

I'm getting better lenses once I deposit my christmas cash.

There's also a slight chance of a new camera for vlogging and more shaytards-ish videos.

I don't know exactly what I'm going to do, but I know it is going to be awesome.

Now, go find something better to do than reading my blog, and let me eat my darn Lucky Charms.

Two Mountain Dews and some Pizza Hut.

had a fun evening tonight! parents headed off to a christmas party so me and my bro hung out, ordered pizza and drank two, count 'em, TWO mountain dews at around 10 p.m.!!! he fell asleep a long time ago, but I'm still up and it's 2:30 a.m. when I'm typing this! I will not be a happy camper later... hehehe

Not a lot happened.

Nothing real notable happened today, other than the fact that i went and played christmas carols with a group of friends for orchestra at my brother's school (my old school). It was funny cuz all the little kids were so confused. A few of them were even heckling me!!! And one rambunctious one kept yelling ENCORE! ENCORE! during all of our songs. i don't think he knew what it meant.... oh well. Thanks for stopping by! Do it again tomorrow? Thanks!

I decided to start twitter again... i haven't stopped posting since. literally every five minutes ive posted something on the site!!! Its crazy. @Elijahtjackson said, "If you get addicted, at least its Twitter, and not Crack..."

Biggest Blizzard of the Century!

Today, December 11th, 2010 from midnight on and still going strong, is the largest amount of snow Minnesota has ever gotten. It literally took 2 hours just to finish shoveling our driveway.

My Supernote - Team Beard-2010

utter chaos!

I want to begin this blog post by saying "Wow, my school is stupid." We have school on Monday. Right after Halloween. So today, I have to do all of my homework, work, carve pumpkins, decorate the house, and figure out my Halloween costume. Plus we're going out to eat for dinner with my grandma! Which isn't bad at all because I love free food! :D And I just got back from walking my dog, Fergus. I'm now off to eat lunch and get started on my homework. Talk to you guys tomorrow!

English class if fun! :D

Not! I'm in honors english class, which apparently means to my teacher that I have an extra 2 hours of my day to spare. Speaking of no time to spare, I've got to go teach guitar in about 5 minutes. Talk to you guys later.

I officially hate mondays...

It's official! I now hate mondays. School seems so much worse after 5 days of vacation. In case you don't know, all of Minnesota had school off Wednesday - Sunday this past week. School was the usual, which isn't really bad, but it just seemed to go much slower. The entire building had the heat on, which in Minnesota isn't always bad, but not when the heat causes some rooms (most of which I was in today) to be over 80 degrees. In about 15 minutes I'm heading to a 3 hour driver's ed class, which according to students of that class who took it this summer says, "IT SUCKS!" I'm hoping this is a bunch of crap but I seriously doubt it. Of course I'll have to re-heat whatever AWESOME food my awesome mother makes! (no sarcasm believe it or not!) Well, I ought to go now...

Lazy Sunday!

Awoke at 11:30 this morning with the burning ambition to finish my homework. As of 4:45, I've completed almost nothing. Me and my family went shopping out of town, because there are no stores around where I live. We went to a Halloween store where everything was marked way up so we didn't get anything. We ate at Noodles and Company which was delicious, and went to the bookstore which never has books on things I'm interested in. Then we went to the craft store and got foam for my brother's halloween costume and then left. And this is my day.

Yesterday me and my family (minus my dad because he had to work) went down to my grandparent's house and hang out there for the day. ROAD TRIP!!!

Just got back from a little road trip thingy and I'm super tired. We went to my grandparents' house in Wisconsin. We did a lot of fun chores (im not joking!) and ran around with our cute little puppy Fergus. basically I'll post a bunch more stuff tomorrow (videos, pictures, and more of the story) I'm just too tired to do it now!

Woo-Hoo! No brother!

Yay for Sundays and the depressing end of a weekend of funnitudiness. Yep, it works like that. So my little brother's little buddy called him up and they hung out at his house like all day which was AMAZING!!!! Quite time for Jake! My mother suggested this uber good mexican restaurant in town called Tamales where they give you chips and lots of good stuff like that. You know the place is authentic when they're blaring Michael Jackson's "Just Beat It". You gotta love the midwest. Then we returned from that delicious adventure, we took the pooch de jake out to the woods where I shot this video. Fergus loves it out there.

Ok so off the topic of my ever so enjoyable and entertaining life, go to Prankhouse.com and download the app for free! High School is LOUD!

Well, today was my first day of high school. Technically, I guess. Today was when we met our teachers and got to know our way around the building. Only us freshman were in the building to eliminate any sort of "fears" that the class of 2014 would have about hazing and what not. Which to me of course would be non existent in my mind regardless. So basically at the beginning of the day we head down to the gymnasium to get the spiel about rules, expectations and what not. As we made our way a literal wall of fellow students toward the gym, you could hear a faint yelling/music/psychotic axe murderer/other obnoxious noise. Then, just as you opened the door, the nuclear bomb of sounds exploded in a passionate fire that singed the any trace of facial hair that you ever had. After dealing with the annoyances of rules and so called "guidelines to success" we headed off to go over our schedules and.....

Haha yay for no time!! I had to get ready for school the next morning so...

Last day of summer :'( (Daily Blog 8/29)

It's the last day of summer! :'(

Today we decided to head over to this place called "Grand Slam"

They have Lazer Tag, mini put put golf, an arcade, and batting cages. We got the unlimited lazer tag package and we had soooo much fun! My uncle who is visiting for the week came along too and after one game of lazer tag he was done with that. It is way more exhausting than it sounds. I was proud because i was the high score player on almost every game and when we did the everyone against everyone game, i came in second place because i hid out in the corner and "sniped" everyone! So then we moved onto the mini golf and i totally kicked some butt! The course is pretty easy so we all got a bunch of hole in ones! Then we did some batting cages and i sucked because im not a baseball kind a guy so i got like two hits. We then decided to use up our little tokens and play some games in the arcade. I got a high score on skee ball and my little brother got a bunch of tickets on a variety of random games. We ended up getting a bunch of candy. So, overall, I think it was a fun way to spend my last day of summer!

Canoeing for a Week! Day 3 (Daily Blog 8/10)

JUST KIDDING!!! There will be no day 3 or 4 or 5 because I realize now how boring the posts are getting. The whole week is pretty repetitious so whats the point of blogging about the same thing 3 times in a row.

Instead, I'll continue with what actually happened today.

• Baked a Cake! (Not really I just decorated it. And by decorated I mean frosted very badly)
• Shucked sum corn! (Which we didn't actually eat 'cuz my mom had to work late!)
• Walked da pooch (in the pouring rain might I add; video in the post below)
• And some TV (The new show Covert Affairs on USA is amazing!)

Ok, I need to share this!

Pretty much every spotlighted video on the YouTube home page is about Justin Bieber getting nailed in the head with some chick's water bottle. The fan girls are either really pissed off or raving for hours on end to their friends how hot he is. If I said world crisis in a room filled with 12 yr old girls, no one would say the assorted hurricanes, tornadoes, or even a massive oil spill in the gulf. Odds are that every single one of them would say Justin Bieber's voice cracking during a performance. I think I know have "Bieber Fiever" because I just added Justin Bieber to the Blogger Dictionary. I'm seriously losing it. If you're too lazy to go over to YouTube and search for the video, here's the link.

Also, another video that's blown up on YouTube the last couple of days; Auto Tune The News, which is a very popular web series did a remix to the "Ghetto Witness" man Antoine Dodson. Once you watch it, you'll get it! Here's the link to that as well.

Canoeing for a Week! Day 2 (Daily Blog 8/9)

So yesterday I left off where we were done with our pre-trip prep. The second day was mainly focussed on departure and paddling techniques. We began our day at around 7am trying to finalize packing and eating breakfast. I don't remember what we exactly had to eat, but all I know is that is was beyond amazing! We then got the canoes and our bags in the trailer and all climbed in the huge van for our 1 and a half hour road trip to the Namekagon River. Yay, fast forward a long boring car ride to where we were putting in. We quickly reviewed the paddling techniques, which for me was a breeze because I get to canoe pretty often. Now we packed up the canoes and headed down the river for about an hour and then stopped for lunch because we had to portage around a dam. We ate for a little bit, played some frisbee and headed off again for 3 or 4 more hours before stopping at a campsite along the river to stay the night. Once we get all the canoes unpacked and on shore, we have "Site Chores". Some people set up tents, others help prepare dinner, and the rest collect firewood. The most crucial and important job there is on this trip. Keeping a fire going is easy with little kindling, but getting and keeping a fire hot enought to boil 3-4 pots of river water a night and morning. We use the water for drinking water, water to sterilize dishes and to cook with. So once we've eaten we hang out, play some games of 'Ninja' which if you've never heard of it, you've lived under a social interaction rock. So yeah, Day 1 of actual canoeing was alot of fun and I enjoyed every bit of it! As you may have noticed, day 2 is much shorter than day 1 length wise. Well, in real life, day 2 was much longer, but most of the time was doing the same thing. And I bet you can't figure out what that is! ;)

That's pretty much for Day 2! Come back tomorrow to read about our near death experience and a gas tanker exploding!!! Haha just kidding but seriously its gonna be pretty interesting!

Canoeing for a Week Day 1 (Daily Blog 8/8)

So yesterday's post was a little short, so I thought I'd go into my canoe trip with a little more detail! First, how do we even get there?? Well, we had three drivers going up to the camp, one of which was my mother. We all met at our church (because I went with my friends from church) and said a quick prayer and headed off on our 4 hour drive to Camp Amnicon (somewhere in Wisconsin...) We stopped for lunch in Hinkley, MN where there was a junction-y type of thing where there was a bunch of different restaurants and things in one area. Me and my friends went to subway and savored every bite for it would be the last food we ate that wasn't cooked over flames for the next week. Once every one was done stuffing their faces we headed off to the nearest gas station for gas. Of course every one piled out and bought mounds of candy (i.e. a 2lb bag of gummy worms for $2!) We then got back in the vans and drove for 2 more hours. Now me and one of my friends Reece had gone to this camp last year and recognized the roads and landmarks on the way and we could tell we were finally getting close! On the way up to this point no one had fallen asleep because of excitement and anticipation. Hooray! We'd arrived around 3pm and got to meet our guides/counselors that we were "stuck with" for the week! One of them, Matt grew up in Bangladesh and his dad owns a film company that specializes in socially networking through film that operates in Bangladesh. So I thought that was really cool! I learned that Bangladesh is actually pronounced [bong-la-desh] and not [bang-la-desh]. So yeah, Matt was pretty cool. Our other guide, Lexi was really funny and had this weird belief that if you sing the Johnny Appleseed song, rain is a given. Me and my fellow canoers tried that conspiracy out and we've proven it wrong, but it sure looked like it was going to rain any second on the last day. Another member of the welcoming committee was our good 'ol pal Ben. Ben is the funniest person, I mean dog anybody could meet! He's a Golden Retriever and is trained extremely well. He's actually a therapy dog and is part of the official staff. His title is "Director of Hospitality" and is apparently on the payroll. They pay him in stuffed animals and food. This is no joke either! When me and Reece got out of the van we immediately said hello to Ben before anybody else! So now we've arrived at Camp Amnicon and met our guides and the other staff members, now it's time to get down to business! We have to go over camp rules, safety regulations, and a bunch of other boring things. But it's our favorite part of the day because we get milk and fresh cookies from our awesome cooks! We then head to the lodge where we sleep and dump our all of our things and pack up everything again into waterproof bags. We also prepare for the upcoming departure by getting rain gear, food, and toiletries such as flashlights (yeah, there's no such thing as soap or even clean on this trip...) into our bags as well. Then we load all of those bags into Duluth Packs (large backpacks) and set them aside for the next day. Then we head down the the Amnicon River, which is right next to the lodge and we do what is called "Swim and Swamp". If you know anything about canoeing you know what the swamp part of that means. Of course for those who don't know, its where you tip and/or flip the canoe over and you have to flip it back up. That's always alot of fun and of course I did sooo awesome at it! (that was sarcastic in case you missed that).
Then we ate dinner and slept for a longtime because every one was exhausted. Yay! You've completed reading about day 1 of the Canoe Trip! I'll pick up where I left off tomorrow because I now realize how long this post is already!

just a little update from last time i blogged:

• I went to a week long rock band camp called Day Jams and totally kicked butt with our two original songs Snuffalufagus and Please shut up.
• Just got back from an awesome canoe-camp-trip-bible study-thingy that was totally way too much fun!
• Just hung out, watched TV and try to finish my summer honors spanish homework...

Nothing else note worthy so, let's keep up the blog for the rest of the summer Jake!!!!!! maybe further into the school year too!

Jake's Daily Blog - 6/28

Today was well, interesting. Not the most enjoyable day of my life, that's for sure. That's because I was sick. :( I had a pretty bad bug and my stomach was sore almost all day. It hurt alot and I decided not to go to basketball camp today because I didn't want to "ralf" all over my teammates. Yeah, so pretty much all I did today was hang around and watch CSI. Fergus my dog kept me company, which of course made my day. Then my mother had to leave for work and there was nobody home except my little brother who had set his butt down in front of the TV in the basement for 6 hours straight. Then I watched some YouTube videos and updated my Wii! Yeah I know, total GEEK ALERT!!!!!! But Wii 4.6 is pretty lame anyway. I think all it did was install parental controls, which doesn't matter because if my parents hadn't of bought it, they wouldn't even know that we owned one. Yep basically the day was a complete bust and nothing notable even happened, even the fact that I never changed out of pajamas... and its 9:30 at night! WHoooPs! MONGO MAKE FLAME!!

Before I get started about today, here's some footage from yesterday!

Last night's bonfire was pretty funny. We played 20 Questions, which is really hard to play with my little brother because he never actually thinks of real things. His word is always some pokemon or star wars creature...

Today was a pretty productive day. I played around with this site for a while and you may have noticed some slight changes, such as the addition of a poll! You can now vote on what I should do this summer! I'll have a different poll each week for you guys to vote on! So let's see how that works. I also worked on some video ideas and I have some pretty cool web series coming up soon as well. How do you guys feel about me doing a little thing on this blog called "Daily Dose of Dog" or something along those lines. This would be me posting a small video or picture of my dog or other dogs I see throughout the day, of course along with the usual blog like the one you're reading. Well, tomorrow I start basketball camp, which is basically just 4 days of basic skill drills and exercises and then scrimmages against other "teams". It's alot of fun and they run you hard for an hour and fifteen minutes straight!!!! I decided to start blogging in color to make it more aesthetically pleasing. Another funny little tidbit about my family; my dad recently taught my brother how to make quesidillas (tortilla with cheese in the microwave) and now Chris wants quesidillas for pretty much every meal... *rolling eyes* Wow. I told Chris this video would never go online, but here it is!

STORM!!!

SUPER FREAKY AND HUGE!

Today was a pretty fun day. Chris (my little brother) and myself chased each other around with nerf guns for a while, which was pretty funny. I mainly hung around the house and played some poker with our spare change, watched some movies on TV, and went for a walk on the bike path we live by. Oh yeah, on the 17th, there was this HUGE storm covering almost the entire state of MN at one point or another and here's a video I made of the clouds. The video is on the post above! It's pretty cool. The clouds were really weird and the whole sky turned like orange and yellow. SUPER FREAKY! I took a quick video of Fergus playing and talking with his little doggy neighbor/friend. I can't get it to work right now and I'm pretty tired, so I think I'll post that tomorrow. The walk that me and my family went on was nice. It's short, about a quarter-mile and it's nice for Fergus (my little pup) because there's lots of tall grasses with lots of smells. He's a funny dog!

Back from Brainerd!

Ta-Da!! I'm back from vacation in Brainerd, Minnesota! We stayed in a cabin near a really nice lake with a beach with many, many ducks...






While we were there, we got hit with unfortunate weather, where it rained 2/3 of the time. We did play lots of card games such as Texas Hold 'em. It was fun altogether, but I would've liked to get in the water a bit more, but a few hours of jumping off a water tramp and canoeing was sufficient. Well, we also went to a very interesting museum. The museum was in a Minnesotan Army Training Camp, Camp Ripley. Here are a bunch of pictures!

Okay, I've got a bunch of pictures and a few little videos from my trip to brainerd, but I'm really tired from over 3 hours of riding in a car. Coming home from a vacation really sucks. I'll have a whole lot of new stuff tomorrow, since (thank god) its SUMMER!!!!!!! Woooohooooooo!!!!

Jake SUCKS AT BLOGGING!

Wow, Jake FAIL! Been busy doing a bunch of stuff, and I totally just realized that I've done zero blogging since Wednesday. Nothing notable to report, so I'll talk to you guys later on tonight. Thanks for understanding! :D

SCHOOL'S OUT FOR SUMMER!!!!!!!!!!

Well, today was my last day as an eighth grader. I'm now going to be a freshman in high school. wow, time goes fast, doesn't it!? I didn't do much today other than watching a 5 hour marathon of my favorite TV show, NCIS. After school, I went to my friend's house (AeroSwift125 on youtube) and we hung out. We didn't do much, tossed around the old pigskin and jumped off a shed. And then, the most fun activity of the day by far, the microwaving of a CD.

So that's about it for today. I'm a little late because I got sucked into CSI:NY again... Darn it Gary Sinise!!!

DEVIL WOMAN ATTACKS and I succeed at ART!

What happened today? Well, not much. My locker now contains only a few binders, and a pencil or two. Why do we even bother having a last week of school, anyway? We've only learned new things in math class because my math teacher's an air head and thinks we're going to pay attention and remember new material the day before our big graduation stuff. Well, I'm glad the PAIN is over with, as tonight we were assigned our last math assignment of the eighth grade. It is unnecessarily confusing and absolutely pointless. I didn't like my math teacher very much, she kinda wanted to make me scream "DEVIL WOMAN!" every time I walked near her classroom. And that, my fellow reader, is an understatement. Hmmmm... What happened today? Well, today in art we were allowed to bring home our projects that we worked on this year. The pictures above are of a clay jar we made, and an etched mirror, that says music with some weird designs on it. Pretty cool, right? I got an A- on both projects, which is the best two grades I've ever gotten in art class. Well, I got to go for today. Blog to the rest of y'all tomorrow!

Bottle Rockets and Hyper Teenage Girls!

Well, today was another one of those days. A day where nothing really occurs but yet many things do. Like, for instance, today I attended a meeting at the library because I'm a teen volunteer (which, believe it or not, my parents had no part in). The meeting was so we could get our schedules and be trained on what we're supposed to do during our 12 hours of volunteering during this summer. This "important" meeting was supposed to last one hour, which seemed lengthy considering the agenda. Half of an hour later we were dismissed. Luckily for me, I live within 5 mins. walking distance of our library, and most of the other teens needed to get rides back home, so they ended up waiting at the library for a half an hour playing Pictionary with the librarians (which didn't sound like the most appealing invitation ever). That was one of the most pointless meetings I have ever been to. Basically half of the time spent during this important gathering was the girl behind me that was in the ninth or tenth grade, was acting much more like a fifth grader who had eaten many pixie stix just minutes before, and she wouldn't stop talking and then she would ask the librarian what she had just said because she "didn't hear what she said". AAAAARRRRGGGHHHHH! It seems like I type that alot, especially when I'm talking about things that occur in my life. One of the coolest things that I've ever done in school happened today; we launched bottle rockets! Not the firework, but in Astronomy class, we built pop bottle rockets the last few days. Today was launch day, which was really, really AWESOME! The way it works is that we hook up an air compressor to a pole attached to a wooden rack and we compress about 90 pounds of force with about 50% water in the first 2 liter pop bottle you see above in the picture. Then we have the countdown from five, and then, BOOM! Those little pop bottles go at least 300 ft in the air and go about 90-100 yards. That is one of the coolest things I've ever done! My friend got some HD video of the launch, so I'll probably have that tomorrow or Wednesday. That about wraps it up for today, so I guess I'll blog y'all later! (wow, that was sooo lame Jake. )

School's Out and Yearbook Troubles :D

I'm really excited right now, because there's only three more days of school left! Then we have Thursday off, and Friday is eighth-grade graduation, which sounds long, lame, and frankly, quite pointless. We sit there for 2 hours listening to names being named and a few speeches from teachers. Big whip-de-doo! I'm also very frustrated because our school is very stupid. My mom bought a year book for 20 bucks at the beginning of the year with some online thing for our school. Apparently, the school doesn't have any record that my mom or me bought a year book and now i have to go in before school starts tomorrow and buy one for a whopping 31 dollars!!!! Arrrggggghhhhhh! What actually happened today is that me, my brother, and my mom went camping. We went to a campsite where we went last July, the Nerstrand Big Woods State Park in Nerstrand, MN. The name Big Woods, means they've got BIG woods! We walked about two miles on Saturday, and today, we walked over 3 miles! The paths were very muddy because of a recent rain, so pretty much every step we took sounded pretty, uh, gross. Haha. I'm glad we didn't bring our dog, Fergus, because he would've been black! And he's a white dog! Now back to another random topic! You can tell when school is pretty much over when you are told to bring home all of your gym clothes and you're taking everything out of your locker and you no longer have any textbooks. Another sign is when all you do in class is watch movies. Ahhh, our tax dollars at work, right? Well, I guess I better get started with my english paper, that is due wednesday... oops.

hey Guys!

I feel bad i haven't been doing much on mydadizspudmctater lately... :( In case you didn't know, I have recently launched a new channel called JakeReviewz. I've worked really hard on getting that channel up and running, and getting subscribers on there. I have well over 100 so far, but im looking for around 3-4 hundered by this summer. So itd be a HUGE help if you subscribed! I promise I'll make a mydadizspudmctater video evantually. I have so much footage, but editing software is being mean again... I think its time to get some new software...

Oh yes, another thing!! The countdown to me going to Washington, D.C. is only 6 weeks away!!!! So expect many videos and pictures here and on my various youtube accounts of DC!

Think about this...

I want to say something confusing. Something that doesn't make sense. But in a distant way, to some, it "clicks" in their minds. I have this odd feeling every now and then, but it is persistent to annoy the "little people who work in my brain" every time I type something, or think something, for that matter. I'm trying to say something that will have to be pondered upon for hours, and that will really get people thinking. Thinking about the way they live, and how others around them live. This is a hard thing for your mind to "wrap" around, but try, I tell myself. But that sense continues to make house calls to those "little people". I do not know why, or how. Nor should you, unless you are some odd shape/form of an elderly Gypsey from the 70's that reads minds of disturbed spirits, sort of like mine. My spirit is more confused, rather than disturbed. This is really going nowhere in your mindset, isn't it. I just don't know how to shake this feeling that I'm missing something in life. As if, all I'm living is just a little puppet show by the signifigant one from above. I have thought about this and how others I know and love seem to be either so predictable, as if following a railroad track, and knowing there's a train station ahead. And there's the people who you have no idea what they are going to do or pull off next. This is where I get stuck in my thoughts. I now realized what I haved typed makes no sense to you, and me. So, overall, I have met my previous goal, to confuse and get you all thinking about something that really has no real "point". Your Welcome,

Their channel got hacked and with security issues with my computer, i left the collab. Later on the channel was shut down and another collab channel was started. I decided not to join, because of scheduling. My basketball season is almost over, and my schedule is lightening up, which means more content from me! I got my first editing and filming job, so YAY for me!! I am the official filmer and editor for a local website! Hooray! my career as a film producer is taking off already!!! :-)

Homework sucks!

Well, i haven't had much time for the web this week, nor will I for the next week or so. This week at my school is the week to get all the High School Honors Classes applications in. On top of that, I'm going on vacation to the Wisconsin Dells this weekend, going through wednesday, so i have alot of makeup work. Please excuse my absense, I will be back as soon as I can.

Windows Movie Maker Sucks!!

Hey Readers!!! Happy Saturday! Woke up @ 9 this morning with a goal. That goal was to finish making a music video I filmed and had started editing. So I turn on my computer, go to Windows Movie Maker, and I continue to edit. But I continue to run into an issue with WMM that whenever you trim a video clip, it makes the music go up the timeline 2 or 3 seconds. So everytime I put the music back at the beginning, the video clips go back 2-3 seconds, which makes for impossible lip syncing... So, you can expect just another video blog like my last one. It is really fun to make, and really funny to watch, but I would have liked to mix it up a little bit. If you havent seen my Somebody's Watchin' Me Music Video, you can click HERE! Shoutout Sundays and Weekly Discussion

First off, I'd like to talk about a new feature I'm adding to my Youtube channel! It's called Shoutout Sundays. Shoutout Sundays are when once a month, I make a video giving shoutouts to anybody who wants one.You must give me a shoutout back plus you must be subscribed. It is a fun little thing I thought of today while I was walking my dog at the park.
Secondly, another thought I had this morning. This blog is really scattered and all over the place as far as topics, themes,etc. go.
So that's why I came up with Weekly Discussion. Basically, what that is, every monday I blog about a topic and how that has related to my life. Then you guys can comment on those posts about what you think about that topic. Express your opinion, 'cuz I'm very curious about what you have to say!!!

I already have a few people interested, which is awesome! But, let's see how much we can get! A little about me that you may know...

Well, here's some things you may or may not already know about me:

1.My dog, Fergus is a West Highland White Terrier. Shown in the picture you see. In this picture he is really young and is probably 1-2 weeks old. He's really playful and loves to run around the house, which makes for interesting pics/vids. I may have to post one or too... (pause for contemplation)

2.If you don't know this yet you are probably fairly new to the mydadizspudmctater "experience". I got a new camera recently! It's a JVC Everio that shoots in 1080p. So all my vids will now be able to be viewed in High Quality on Youtube! It also has Dual Memory and a very long lasting battery life! Can't wait to shoot more videos with it!

3. I don't enjoy reading.(to the most part) If i'm forced to read, i probably will pretend to read and just flip the page every once in a while. But whenever i feel stressed out about pretty much anything, I love to read. It relaxes me and kind of takes me to a different world, where whatever the characters' emotions are, i feel them too. Which is actually really weird if you think about it. I feel others emotions just by reading how they feel...

4.I FREAKIN' LOVE THE INTERWEBZ! Anything with computers or technology(other than video games) i will reasearch, even if i won't purchase the product. I am just facinated with anything electronic for some reason.

5. I do considerably well in school considering I spend hours on end using the computer/ipod/video camera/etc.
