Christmas is Comin'!

In case you are not already aware, Christmas is approaching. And by approaching I mean 3 days from now. I'm getting a new HD camera, tripod, new vid. editing software, props, and a bunch of other things. But in this blog post, I want to make a point(which is rare on my vids and my blog) about Christmas and what Christmas has become in America. Now, if you enjoy making money by stressing out every American, please do not read this blog, for you will find it offensive. That's right, I'm going to discuss the commercialization of Christmas. Random interruption: I used spell check to see if i spelled commercialization right, and it said i spelled Christmas wrong every time in this blog post!?!!?!?!?!? So confused.... Anyway back to the blog. I think the entire holiday has become way to commercialized. I hate seeing commercials for "door busters" and "Christmas eve shopping sales" because, well, i guess i hate the whole theory of HAVING to buy gifts for pretty much everyone in your entire family(cousins, nieces, nephews, etc). I have a small family and haven't really experienced that level of craziness, but i can guess pretty well that it would be hectic. Not only would it be alot of gifts, the bill would rack up beyond your belief. With the economic issues in our country(i hate to get political at all) but its true. So maybe instead of going out and buying gifts, maybe make something! What i do is make videos for all my grandparents, aunts and uncles, and friends, and put them on DVDs. Its cheaper, and means alot more to them than just going to a store to purchase something. Thanks for reading and Merry Christmas!
